A word about my experience with Adsense

I can say that my experience with Adsense has been a learning experience. I've learned about ad placement, following Google Adsense's TOS, Search Engine Optimization, and many other interesting and important subjects. However, I really have to say that above all, search engine optimization is really important.

Back when the web was new, you would make a website and they'd come. Now, you have to work your website into Google's top SERPs by getting links. At the beginning I knew nothing about SERPs, Page Rank, and Search Engine Optimization. After monthes of trial and error, I finally know enough to make money online.

If your just started, I strongly encourage you to become knowledgeable in Search Engine Optimization and become familiar with Google Adsense's TOS. If not, you will spend months in the trial and error stage.

Adsense Earnings from July 22, 2009 - July 29, 2009

Well, the most I can say is that I'm a little bit disappointed. I may have been taken off of Google's SERPs because they think that I'm a Made for Adsense site. Nevertheless, I can get visitors in other ways. Here's a screenshot of my Adsense account:

I'm not going to stop, however. The big guys make it big by persisting no matter what the results are.

Adsense Earnings for July 21, 2009

Hey guys, I'm back to regularly posting. For those who don't know all the ads on this blog disappeared, and I figured it was because I violated Google Adsense's TOS. It turns out that I just needed to verify my phone number. Just a tip: be sure to check your Adsense account every once and a while. You never know when you'll need to.

As for my Adsense earnings yesterday, once again I made some money. This blog got $0.30 from my Adsense ads. Here's the screenshot:

TOS "Made For Adsense" sites

The Google Adsense's Terms of Service are a set of clever rules implicated by Google to restrict your Adsense freedoms. One of the most clever rules I think they have made is the "Made For Adsense" Rule.

This rule states that you cannot make a website that is just for making money by displaying Adsense ads. An example would be a spam site that only displays ads and little content. This site may be considered one before I started adding useful content.

You won't usually be kicked out of the Google Adsense program by violating this rule, but your site will no longer display ads, and therefore you'll have no monetary gain.

If your site has "Made For Adsense" content, I highly recommend you add some variety and useful information. Your site will parish otherwise.

Adsense Earnings - June 8th to July 20

Sorry I haven't been updating my earnings too much. My Adsense ads disappeared and I assumed it was the work of "Made For Adsense" filtering. I just had to verify my phone number...

Because the idea of being filtered out scared me, I'm going to add some content that doesn't make me a "Made For Adsense" website.

But before we do that, you're going to want to see my Adsense Earnings from June 8th to July 20th so here they are!

As you can see I made a total of 1.81 in the past month and a half. It's not enough to live off of (or even buy a sandwich) but it's progress, which is what I was looking for all along. Page impressions drastically reduced, so I need to take a look into that for sure. See you tomorrow!

Earnings: $0.04

Sorry about the delay guys. I went on a little vacation and didn't have internet access. I'm back, and here's my earnings over the last week or so.

Just so you know, impressions are up and we did have a click or two. That brings me up to $1.61. Thanks Google Adsense!

My Adsense Earnings - June 1, 2009

I started this blog about a month ago, and I have over a dollar in earnings. Some bloggers don't see a penny until months into blogging, so I consider myself pretty lucky. As for my earnings yesterday, I'm stuck at zero once again. Page impressions are up however, so I can't complain. Here's a screenshot:
